Aurora Prediction

The space weather forecast is pointing to some of us Northerners seeing dancing colored lights in the sky tonight. The sun flare was a big one, and the coronal mass ejection it produced should hit Earth sometime today. If you've got clear skies tonight, look North. It's supposed to be a nice one.

I'm definitely going to be on the look out. Hopefully it's clear tonight.

No way?! Never heard of this, but will have to google it. Wonder if we're too far south (NE), and it's totally cloudy. BLAH. But thanks for the heads up! :-)

Yeah... I was so looking forward to perhaps seeing it. And got an eye full of raindrops, instead. Poo. Timing is everything.

Wow, this is the only time since we escaped to Hawaii that I am wishing I were back in the north tonight. :) I hope you get some pics!!

Didn't see anything here, the "storm" peaked before dark and then subsided.
