If everyone (ahem) in this house used re-usable shopping bags, there would not be any plastic grocery bags multiplying in the cupboard.
If there were no plastic grocery bags in the house, I would use an empty Cheerios bag because if there is a way I will find it.
If the previously mentioned wadded up plastic grocery bag containing wet cloth diapers is on the floor of the car, the Bean's Daddy will throw it in the trash when we stop at a gas station in the Big City.
If cloth diapers end up in the trash, I wonder why the heck I even try.
If the pile of cloth diapers remaining at home is worryingly small, it won't matter because the eighteen month old little Bean will suddenly decide she is a big BIG girl.

{I can't get enough of her wispy hair}
If she proudly shows everyone in the house her pee in the potty chair, I become deaf from the roar of the cheering crowd.
If she makes it an entire two weeks with very few daytime wet diapers, I start to wonder if this isn't possibly, unbelievably, the very real deal.

And hello I am so struggling with skin tones right now it's not even funny. *sigh*
RGB numbers for the highlighted area on her right cheek, blue is actually (wrongly) higher than green! HELP!!!
Those kids. They grow up so darned fast. ~sigh~
So funny how those "big events" are both bitter and sweet. Happy to see them growing, thriving, achieving. Sad to see those last moments which will soon be only memory. You have me reminiscing this morning my dear. Thanks for the memories!
You have missing cloth diaper trouble, too??? I am somehow missing three, THREE diaper shells. Argh. Sigh. At least there are no dirty diapers at our house anymore, but we aren't quite at the "very few daytime wet diaper" phase yet. Maybe we need to come visit again so that Sunny Baby can get some encouragement from The Bean! :) Way to go, Bean!
Is she really being dry a lot and peeing in her potty chair? Wow! Time to put her in panties and just go with it! She have a few messes, but she'll be so proud of herself for being a big girl! Way to go, Bean!
And then you can forget about your missing cloth diapers woes. You're welcome. ;)
I can't comment on the potty stuff, but it's a beautiful picture. I can't tell that you're having any white balance issues but you're much more technical than me...I'm a by looks person which isn't always the best way to go.
I do love her hair too! Can't wait til the baby's hair gets long :) It's finally growing back after falling out...
She is such a doll!! Also, hooray for the big girl!! I'm a tad jealous!!
I'm no help with the WB (tho I think this photo looks great!). It's one thing I do keep on auto since light is constantly changing when I'm snapping AND I always ALWAYS forget to check it. Always.
I totally love her wispy hair. :D And her eyes are gorgeous.
Yay for self-training!! My Becky self-trained at 22 months. It was awesome.
I would throw out a smelly plastic bag, too. :/ Sorry yours had your dipes in it. That sucks. I am very very very bad, and use Pampers. But I do use cloth shopping bags. ;)
this was such a sweet post :) and her wispy hair is quite cute :)
Love those eyes and the bokeh on her hair - it kills me every time. Your technical detail is amazing. When it comes to pictures of my kids, if it's not out of focus and looks sort of like them in real life, I call it good! And as is so blantantly obvious, I just have a point a shoot, and am just starting to play with white balance and wondering what it all means. I know the color in most of my photos (particularly indoor ones) is atrocious. But why would I ever want to take it off auto?!?!
And of course, congrats to you and the little girl on the potty training!
I LOOOOOOOOVE your Bean pic!! Oh my, what a beauty! Those eyes! And you're right...luv the wispy hair. Livia is getting her 2nd hair cut tomorrow. If you hear shrieking 2 states down, it's coming from NE. She has inherited her mom's hair (poor thing) and it's just a disaster. We'll see how it goes.
So, you're starting potty training already? Well the daughter of a microbiologist has a better chance than any daughter of mine. *sigh*
Oh yeah, and I think the skin looks PERFECT! I have no clue what all the number mean. She's beautiful and to be honest, all I saw at first glance were those gorgeous EYES!
Oh happy day!! The beloved graduation into Big Kid undies! Woo hoo for you! And her of course.
That picture is gorgeous. So soft and innocent. Love the wisps of hair too.
It is your scientific mind that has you wondering just exactly how to get the perfect shot. And I'm envious. You will become photo Yoda in no time and we will all become your young jedis.
That picture looks perfect to me. The color of her eyes is not photoshop enhanced and crystal clear. I adore it! You have skills girl.
Now the potty news... !!! YAY!!! The 3 exclamations before the YAY were intentional. How exciting. It is such a big deal. Congrats! Potty training is not for the weak.
