My third-hand lion

All he wanted was some lovin'. All I wanted was to keep him more than a foot and a half away from me for just a few seconds so I could get this shot.

lovey barn cat

Prior to that, we had a little commotion. I told him it wasn't classy to steal bread from the chickens and then smack them when they tried to take it back. Then again, chickens are thieves too. Maybe it was good for them.

Normally, he's such a gentleman, which is incredible since he'd been abandoned here by previous residents not once, but actually twice before we arrived. Doesn't that make him a third-hand lion?

One of my favorite photos by you. Although to be honest, it would be really hard for me to pick a favorite. They're all pretty awesome. :)

Love how his face just 'jumps' out of the photo, almost 3D like! Nice shot and he looks like a nice one to hang around and entertain :)

Awesome shot! I tried to get a picture of my cat for I Heart Faces, but he wouldn't have anything to do with that program!

What a face!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrific shot!

I have a hard time every morning as I walk out to my computer. We have THREE (thanks, Adeena - NOT) lions who attack my legs every morning, expecting food to fall out of my bathrobe. Murdoch (thanks, Adeena - NOT) is the WORST, because not only does he get in my way and attack me, he often climbs me. You read that right... he climbs me, like I am a telephone pole. He digs in his claws to be sure he gets a good grip. IT HURTS.

Anyway, I love our kitties (er, I mean lions) and I totally love the picture of yours.
