If I didn't know you, I'd think that was one of the kids' stuffed toys. Isn't he just perfect and soft-looking with such detailed paws? I'm sorry it is frozen because it is so cute, but I suppose that's the only way to get a decent picture of one....
You should talk to my mom...This past fall in the garage bathroom, she found "fury turds" floating in the toilet....I guess the mice decided to go swimming and ended up as "fury turds"
At first I chuckled inside. Just kind of amused and grossed out at the same time. Then I further investigated your picture, and technically you have it nailed. I'm not disturbed that you would post a dead mouse-icle. Not at all. After all I enjoyed your "meal" post. You just have me on my toes. You never can tell what you will get to read when you come here. And I'm one who loves suspense.
love this! at least they're not making babies in your basement, right? i do feel a bit bad though, the thought of any creature freezing to death is sort of sad. unless he died of other causes, in which case i'm not really sad anymore.
i have to say that, in spite of the fact that i've been blogging since 2005, yours is one of about 5 other blogs i'm actually excited to read. i've been fighting with my reader to get your posts to show up (they probably auto-went to some folder i never check, as i am subscribed to some trillion blogs right now).
i have it figured out though; more regular commenting ahead.
also, if we buy a house this spring, i'm going to attempt a vegetable garden; you live on a farm and so that's sort of relevant, yes? :D
ohh annnndddd i meant to relate a story about my sister's dog, jaz. she was killed a few months ago by a car :[ but years ago when i lived at home, jaz used to bring home squirrels... frozen ones. i thought we were clever calling them squirrel popsicles but mouse-icle is way better. jaz even found a stuffed animal squirrel that was frozen and she brought that home too. i guess she was creative when she couldn't find any actual animals and she was fine with settling for make-believe ones.

Hmmm... mouse-icle blog header? I'm thinking yes.

Is it weird that instead of being disturbed by the frozen mouse, I'm amazed at how gorgeous your shot is?? So crisp....literally . :)

Lovely picture though. You have some amazing talent if you can make a frozen mouse look good! :)
