It was a glorious, beautiful, awesome snake day.
Why, yes... snakes are one of our very favorite things! How did you ever guess?

Boy, oh boy, was it ever fun! There was laughing and grabbing and pushing and giggling, there was close inspection and something that resembled a snake carnival ride. I never knew they could, but when we finally let that exhausted snake go, it breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Snakes *are* fun!
Especially when just the thought of seeing one sends your hubby into full-body shudders!! :D
I love the picture. Perfect! especially with the tongue sticking out.
I'm not sure that I've ever had a "snake" day. Although, I'm now remembering every snake related memory that I have. Fortunately, all of them are good.
YAy! I sooo want a corn snake of my own and we would certainly celebrate "Snake day" with you if I had one ;)
Trot is on the mend- thanks for all the prayers!!!!
Ew, ew! Sorry, but that shot about made me jump off my chair. I am terr.i.fied of those reptiles. Which is really weird considering my dad had a boa constrictor as a pet for awhile when I was growing up. Now I can't even see a picture or movie with one in without about having a heart attack and shrieking and pulling my feet up off the floor.
So yeah, my kids will never have "snake" day. Not unless they want their mother to run away and never come back, lol.
I can still smell the stink of a gardner snake. Ewwew.
I grew up with snakes as well. I caught them, and they were not pleased with me. :) haha.
Now, i'm not so fond of them...but I do have a boy who is!!!
Ewwwwie!!!
Can't say that I agree, although with my girl someday we may just celebrate "snake"day!
I love your Blog! So much so that I passed the Versatile Blogger Award on to you. If you don't want to "play" that's fine. I'll still think you are just as awesome. http://toadmama.com/2010/05/versatility-my-first-award/

Amazing photo!

I really thought he was going to call CPS. Thanks for following...you can find me at the The Bird's Nest too...my regular blog. http://thebirdsnest3.blogspot.com
