I love that green, green grass.

I want to fill my fists with it's cool moist freshness, and throw it at the sky. I want to run around barefoot and feel it's kiss between my toes.
I want to rub it in my hair.
What's that you say? I have loose chickens?
I nearly forgot about that.

Okay, an occasional chicken poop aside, that beautiful soft green blanket just makes my heart sing.
It turns our harsh winter into a forgotten dream.
It creates magical little spaces to search for hidden bugs.
Oh dear.

Yes, it also makes me want to kick my boys out the back door. For hours at a time.

I LOVE when the grass gets so green!! And yes, little boys get booted out the door here too ;)
That reminds me of my childhood! We grew up on a semi-farm and (with chickens) and I loved it. until you steps in cow poop, chicken poop, horse poop or dog poop...really, any kind of poop. But it was pure joy until you feel the squish. :) hahahha.
nice color in your pics!
