Winter allows for self-indulgent things that make me happy. Like hot cocoa with a tiny bit of instant coffee, and fresh cut flowers that did not grow anywhere near here.
It's an acceptable way of self-medicating for these tiring February days.
Pink is so not my color. I like these anyway.
They remind me that it's warm enough to grow things somewhere, and that my turn will come.

From the labels I can assume that these were shot with your crippled Rebel and that they are sooc...both of which makes me love them that much more......because I'm wierd like that.
I love all the contrast in the first shot and the last one looks film-like to me for some reason.
And the weather hasn't been bad. Why am I dying for winter to be over, too?

yes, pink is not my favorite either, but wow oh wow in these photos it rocks!!! When I was making up my original camera wish list, a Lens Baby was on it, but then I realized I should hold my horses and maybe just adjust to a new camera first ;)
