Breakfast thief strikes again. I need a granola superhero to save the day.

9:56am
Okay. Honestly? This electronic device is really stinkin' cool.

11:00am
Brother to sister: "There's no duck in your truck. Where aaaaaaaare they?"
Sister to brother: "Oh. They hiding."
Brother: "Nooooooooooooooo!"
Mom: "Dude. Where did you find a duck?"
Brother: "In the toybox"

{shirt reads "DADDY THINKS HE'S IN CHARGE", which does actually have a story behind it}
12:09pm
Evidence. Someone was making a computer again.

1:28pm
Naptime. Waiting for Ellie to come snuggle and purr.

2:17pm
What happens if you set the dial to automatic when you can't reach the focus button on the backside of the camera:

3:52 pm
I finally sat down to sort through the mountain of containers and lids that have been crawling across the kitchen floor for a day and a half. And... sabotaged again.

5:04 pm
Desperate times call for desperate measures:
Stop.
Drop your truck that doesn't have it's "rubbers" on.
Watch a movie.

6:09 pm
Headed in to town, way later than a sane Mom or Dad in this household would... to be social, which is also an irrational decision. I admitted to my husband that I was being a real raincloud about the whole thing. He tried to tell me that he had only recently become a more social guy, "I was just a late bloomer."
Me: "So you're saying I haven't bloomed yet."
Him: "Uh, no. It just took me awhile to grow up."
Thanks honey.

8:29 pm
The road back home. And yes, I may be anti-social but I did have a good time.

Some great shots! I especially like the first two
Okay, so first off, that was a really fun peek into your day! Second? Raincloud. Love it!!! Gonna have to remember that as the word is much more fun, friendly and colorful than the word I use to describe myself when I am in a mood!!! Ha ha ha! Raincloud. Love it!!!!!
Love all the shits of your rascals! They are darling. Happy 10!!!!
Great shots of your day. Loved them all and I can totally relate to being anti-social. Guess I need to grow up, too! :)
Antisocial. Yep. ;)
We love our electronic device, too. Hannah kills me with how she knows how to use it!!
Ducky pic is awesome. :D
Bean's hair is getting so LONG!!
Love the truck shot on the couch. :D Did you make it into 301? ;) It sold out so quickly.
You have some great POV's here. I applaud you mothers. I don't know how you stay sane-and I don't think it's by being more social....but it might be. I prefer to zen out with a book or movie for down time-or to socialize with other bloggers, right? Happy weekend Jess.
I love these day in the life photos! I, too, am an anti-social person who almost always enjoys herself when forced to participate socially.
Best typo in a comment, ever. In case you missed it. :)
Always enjoy these Photos of Family stories!
Cat
Fun! I especially love the first shot with the old school desk and chair.
Just read the typo comment too. Hilarious! Have a great weekend!
That granola looks delicious. Plastic containers and their lids (or missing lids) just might send me over the edge.
i caught the typo - hilarious.
I'm glad you had a good time anyway. Most people don't think of me this way, but I am anti-social, too. Ultimately, I'd rather stay home anyday.....even though I usually end up having fun.
Forzen raspberries from your garden? I'm looking into starting raspberries this year. Any tips or suggestions?
yeah, i caught the typo too. actually, at first i didn't realize it was typo. i thought, "holy smokes! who calls kids that?!" ;) SOYRs. ha!
love your 10 on 10! off to try to find out what you're shooting with :)
thanks for your comment over at my place!
I thought you said your pics were stinky. These are not stinky. at all. (unless you're talking about the typo comment). ;)
A duck! yes!
And I just about fell over at the computer picture - Kiddo used to make computers out of everything.
And I love that your hair is wet at 3:52 in the afternoon. That's about the same time I got my shower on Friday. Ugh.
P.S. now I want to know the "Daddy's in charge" story.
got it :) i'm using a 5D Mark II, too. But we're still saving up for better lenses. The only thing I have that fits the Mark II is a 50mm... definitely making me work for different angles. I like your shots! Adding you to my blog list thingy :)
Love your photos! & your comments for each made me laugh. :)
Great pictures and perspectives! Your lines for each cracked me up, you're such a witty writer.
You made fun fun fun photos that much more interesting with your narrative! Love the 2 headed shot ;)
i love your perspective! especially in the first two photos. great set!
My favorite is the scissor photo...beautiful shot!
First, I saw the other Brooke's and had to double check to make sure I didn't already leave you some words and just forgot. I wouldn't be surprised if that did ever happen. Second, I happen to see your comment and had to scroll til I found what you were talking about. I literally let out a big laugh. That's just humor you can't make up. And also, I so love seeing glimpses of an entire of yours. always :)
*that should read an entire DAY of yours. geez, that's TWICE today I've left out an important word on a blog comment I've left. pregnant mommy brain-it really exists, pretty sure I'm proof of that. *sigh
Had to go back and read the comments... hahaha! Love the truck on the couch too. :)
