Back to School - Part 2

Thick fog all around. We can only see a little way, but I have no doubt the view any further would be too overwhelming. What we have, right now, is exhausting enough.

The little bumps and dips in the road are sometimes worse than they appear. Sometimes they cause more trouble than the big potholes, the ones that are guaranteed to be worth swerving hard to avoid.

Things happen. Small things and big things happen that give assurance that we are on the right road, no matter what state of disrepair it may be in. The right school. The right teachers. These small and big things show themselves for what they truly are, not chance happenings. Blessings. Straight from God himself.

This is right, for us. For right now.

School time! At our house, Bear isn't old enough to go to school yet, but since Champ is a (bus driver among his many many odd jobs besides teaching, we have our fair share of bus experiences. Love the tone of your bus picture!!!!

Just got caught up here- Congratulations on 8th with the eyes at I heart faces!!!!! You totally deserve it!

And someday you'll have traveled farther down the road to a place you can't see from now, but then you'll be able to look back and see how God pieced together all those dips and bumps and potholes and all those good things and good people and good places. And maybe that won't give you reasons for all the dips, bumps, and potholes, but it'll give you one amazing road pieced together by the only One who can. Great pictures; great words.

I love the symbology you used here - especially with the fog. Sometimes not being able to see very far ahead is a gift.

And God is good - to open our eyes to see the confirmations He's sending our way.

Praying for peace for you as you navigate the bumps, dips and potholes.
