It was one of the warmest days we'd had in a long time. I mean, like, nearly forty degres (F). And in the car, with the sun blasting through the windows? It felt like a summer day.
I'm just not sure what to say about that.
He did take his gloves off.
Sometimes we heard what sounded like a muffled Darth Vader speaking in Spanish. We still have no clue what he was trying to say.
He does sort of look like a spaceman. And that thing he's holding is probably a death ray or something. My son went through a phase (as many boys do) where all he would want to wear were boots. Snow boots. Which would be fine in the winter, but he looked really silly running (trying to run) down the side walk in shorts, t-shirt, and snow boots!
I remember when I was young my little brother would NOT adjust to warmer weather. He would insist on wearing winter clothes well into July for many summers in a row until my mom finally coaxed him into some swim trunks.
I think your son is just smart enough to know that winter is apparently never going to end so there's no use in getting all excited about a few days of warm weather. I, for one, got WAY to excited about the nice weather we had a few weeks ago.

I love this! It reminds me soooo much of my Grant. He'll wear the oddest things at the oddest times.
