Simple fun
Around here, it's usually the very simple things that are the most fun. Stuff like playing underneath and inside huge overgrown lilacs, laughing at our beast of a dog as she jumps at the sprinkler... or digging in loose gravel like a badger.
When it's worth losing some time to take those socks and boots off, you know it's going to be good!
I believe I've mentioned that we don't have a TV? Easily amused, yes, that's us!

I wish I didn't have a tv... not that I use it... much. But still, to know that my kid could be that easily amused? Priceless! =)

Oh yes! Love the imagination, life is SO much better, SO much more simpler without tv!
I love the boot picture. I'm always amazed by the incredible draw of plain old dirt! I think all of my kids (at a certain age) could have been in the middle of Disney World and still be more interested in the dirt! :)

I don't have tv either, and it's absolutely amazing how the kids have learned to entertain themselves with simple things...
We own a TV, but it only gets turned on for family movie nights, a half hour or so of PBS each day...my kiddos LOVE Clifford, and to watch the Vikings during football season. I can honestly say I don't miss watching TV at all!

These make me want to pitch our TV... almost. I am lucky that we rarely use it and my daughter would rather be outside :)
